MY REVIEW

Hefty and beautiful, The Woman’s Study Bible is a great resource for women interested in supplemental information with their Bible reading.

Firstly, everything about this Bible is visually appealing. From the dual-toned and florally decorated imitation leather cover (the version that I received) to the full-color pages inside, The Woman’s Study Bible is wholly attractive and pleasing to the eye.

Now, more importantly, The Woman’s Study Bible is filled with plenty of excellent informative material (in easy-to-read font and formatting). Background information at the beginning of each book, footnotes on nearly every page, brief articles about various women and topics, maps to help visualization—it’s all beneficial, thought-provoking, and fascinating.

I have enjoyed the time I have spent with this Bible. The New King James Version is new for me, but I greatly appreciate the perspective it (along with the added information) gives me on familiar passages. I’m looking forward to continuing to study in this Bible in the future and highly recommend it to those looking for a study Bible.
