MY REVIEW

The latest novel from Lisa T. Bergren, Keturah delivers a captivating historical tale that I thoroughly enjoyed. Adventure, romance, and an independent female lead set in the West Indies, a setting I don’t encounter often—this story has a lot to love. There are definitely some difficult situations present in it, including abuse and slavery, which are never easy to read, but I think Bergren handles them well in the context of her story. The overall story proves to be inspiring and uplifting, and I recommend Keturah to readers of inspirational historical fiction.
