“Okay.” He blew out a breath. “Not easy. But worth the challenges.” Forgetting the hot air balloon operator’s instructions, he held on to her with both hands.
“Honestly, Colin, I have a lot of emotional baggage, some you already know and some I find too painful to share. I won’t risk opening my heart to a man who isn’t around most days of the year.”
