review

devon fairchild's in maple glen with a promise to keep, and not even a snowstorm will stand in her way—which may not be the best approach, since she gets injured while out hiking... luckily, firefighter finn mcallister finds her and brings her to his family home to warm up and wait out the storm. devon, of course, receives more care and attention than she's experienced in a long time—but should she get attach when her life is back in chicago?

rescued at christmas is a sweet return to maple glen. finn made appearances in a small town fourth of july, but here, his story can really come out. he loves to be the one to help, so it's no surprise that his story revolves around rescuing devon. there are some complicated feelings that arise for devon with being back in maple glen, and he and his family really challenge her to face the memories from her past. it's heartwarming to see them interact, amidst the christmas festivities, growing and healing—and perhaps even finding love.

for any readers who love heartwarming small-town contemporary romance, rescued at christmas could be a delightful holiday read.
