MY REVIEW
With action right from the get-go, Dana Mentink’s Treacherous Trails is a thrill to read. The plot moves at a fast pace, danger and suspense at every turn, and it’s easy to root for Ella Cahill and Owen Thorn through it all. Their story kept me on the edge of my seat, turning pages eagerly to get to the satisfying end, and with the inclusion of some sweet romance and uplifting spiritual themes, I couldn’t help enjoying it. For readers in need of a quick contemporary suspense novel, Treacherous Trails is worth checking out (and don’t worry that it’s the second in a series—it can easily be read as a standalone).
