Oh, this book proved to be a much-needed escape to Alaska!
Rowan O'Shea only intends to be home temporarily to help her grandmother, but leaving Alaska holds little appeal, given all she left behind. Naturally, it looks like a fake marriage to veterinarian Zack Vogel could be the solution to her problems—but even more naturally, feelings begin to develop, making the solution more like a (delightful) complication.
I cannot resist a fake relationship; I love just about every one I read! It is then only to be expected that Beth Carpenter's An Alaskan Homecoming was so much fun to read, and I enjoyed every page of it. Any other reader in need of a heartwarming contemporary romance, check out this book (and series).

Beth Carpenter is thankful for good books, a good dog, a good man and a dream job creating happily-ever-afters. She and her husband now split their time between Alaska and Arizona, where she occasionally encounters a moose in the yard or a scorpion in the basement. She prefers the moose.
