another sweet story (quite literally, given the baked goods) set in lagrasse, georgia from danielle thorne!

single dad patrick butler is new to town and taking over the well-loved bakery, the last re-torte. of course, right across the street, tam rochester has plans to expand her herb shop into a tea-and-pie shop—but can those plans succeed against patrick's tasty peach hand pies?

winning over the baker is a cute story. it seems obvious from the beginning how lagrasse could be big enough for the both of them, but it's still enjoyable to see them work it out. as they work through their business woes, patrick and tam also have family challenges—that come with some heartwarming moments, too.

for any reader looking for an uplifting small-town contemporary romance, this quick read could be a perfect pick.
