review
there's another mystery to be solved in amish country!
eve returns home to rachel's crossing, kentucky after the death of her brother. when danger strikes, she—and her childhood friend, assistant police chief casey masterson—realize there's more to the story than what they've believed so far... and there's plenty more danger to come.
secrets accompany all the danger, too, and it's quite a suspenseful ride along with eve and casey. their story moves at a fast pace, full of action, though there are a couple quieter moments that allow the romance to come to light. it's exactly the blend i now expect to find in a romantic suspense from mary alford, and i enjoyed it.
