The second of her series set in the Ozarks, following A Most Inconvenient Marriage (but definitely readable on its own), Regina Jennings’ At Love’s Bidding delivers a delightful and entertaining historical romance. With the likeable, caring characters of Miranda Wimplegate and Wyatt Ballentine at the forefront and their quirky, humorous, and unexpected circumstances, this novel kept me reading and wondering how their problems would resolve. Fans of Jennings will not be disappointed with this new romance and will certainly be left eager to read more from her, just like I am. I would not hesitate to recommend this novel to readers of historical romance - it’s a fun read.

Regina Jennings is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in English and a history minor. She is the author of A Most InconvenientMarriage, Sixty Acres and a Bride, and Caught in the Middle, and contributed a novella to A Match Made in Texas. Regina has worked at the Mustang News and First Baptist Church of Mustang, along with time at the Oklahoma National Stockyards and various livestock shows. She now lives outside Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with her husband and four children.
