MY REVIEW

What a beautiful story. With The Edge of Mercy, Heidi Chiavaroli effectively delivers yet another historical-contemporary story, rich in emotion, faith, and love. For the reader who delights in dual timelines, this is not a book to miss.

As her own marriage falls apart, Sarah Rodrigues becomes swept up in the complicated romance of colonist Elizabeth Baker. Though separated by centuries, the lives of these two women nevertheless connect in striking, uplifting ways, hope and hardship intertwined.

I can easily say that I enjoyed The Edge of Mercy. It’s exactly what I expected, based on my previous experience with Chiavaroli’s skill, and left me looking forward to read more from her.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Heidi Chiavaroli began writing twelve years ago, just after Jesus had grabbed hold of her heart. She used her two small boys’ nap times to pursue what she thought at the time was a foolish dream.
