MY REVIEW

Years ago, an accident claimed the life of Lizzie’s brother and left her face scarred. The past still haunts her as she questions whether any man could love her. Her neighbor and childhood friend, Paul Burkholder wants to be that man, but he, too, still struggles with that tragic accident.

As the characters deal with the past, as well as the other complications the story throws at them, A Love for Lizzie proves to be a sweet, enjoyable Amish romance. Though there are a few details that differ from what I have read previously about the Amish, it is not a bad Love-Inspired debut for Tracey J. Lyons. If you enjoy quick reads featuring Amish characters, consider checking out this book.
