Papa slowly closed the Bible, while Lucy sat quietly. She had been excited to learn about this first family, but now she felt sad thinking about all that had been lost in the garden and about all the times she didn’t do what was right. Papa Joe could see she was troubled.

People may look different, come from different countries, and speak different languages; but we all have some important things in common. We are all created in God’s image, and we all mess up. We struggle to obey God sometimes, but He never stops loving us.
