"The Red Door Inn took my breath away! Highly recommended!” -Colleen Coble, author of The Inn at Ocean's Edge and the Hope Beach series

Marie Carrington is broke, desperate, and hoping to find sanctuary on Prince Edward Island while decorating a renovated bed-and-breakfast. Seth Sloane moved three thousand miles to help restore his uncle's Victorian B and B--and to forget about the fiancée who broke his heart. He wasn't expecting to have to babysit a woman with a taste for expensive antiques and a bewildering habit of jumping every time he brushes past her.

The only thing Marie and Seth agree on is that getting the Red Door Inn ready to open in just two months will take everything they've got--and they have to find a way to work together. In the process, they may find something infinitely sweeter than they ever imagined on this island of dreams.

The Red Door Inn warmly invites its readers into a beautiful story of broken people connected by an old Victorian-style house.

Jack Sloane wants to make his late wife’s dream of opening a Prince Edward Island bed-and-breakfast come true, so he enlists the help of his nephew, Seth Sloane, and a complete stranger, Marie Carrington. Equally suspicious of one another and carrying secrets and hurts from past relationships, Seth and Marie grudgingly work together to prepare the Red Door Inn to open (but not without their share of disagreements). Naturally, challenge after challenge arises to make their jobs difficult - and provides the much-needed opportunity to learn to trust again.

The Red Door Inn is a sweet story of redemption, second chances, and great romance. Liz Johnson writes it well, portraying Prince Edward Island as a delightful setting, and left me ready for more of her Prince Edward Island Dreams series. For now, I’ll simply say that I really enjoyed reading The Red Door Inn and recommend it to fans of contemporary fiction.

Thanks to Revell Reads, I received a copy of The Red Door Inn and the opportunity to provide an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions I have expressed are my own.
