When I
read Captured by Love, I fell in love with Jody Hedlund’s writing and
storytelling and had high hopes for enjoying her newest novel, Love
Unexpected. Luckily for me, this novel contains everything I loved about
the other one. With a great, action-filled historical setting involving pirates
and lighthouses, well-developed and engaging characters and well-paced, sweet
romance, I can’t think of a single aspect I did not enjoy about Love
Unexpected. I would certainly recommend it for fans of historical romance.
It’s well-worth a read.
