Since
reading The Desire last fall, I’ve been curious to know more of both
Doug’s and Christina’s story. Luckily, The Legacy, the fourth book of
the Restoration series by Dan Walsh and Gary Smalley, provided me with just
that. It is a great follow-up novel to the previous one, focusing on Doug and
Christina while revisiting the entire Anderson family again and tying together
the many storylines’ loose ends. It is emotional and heartwarming, especially
in its retelling of the classic biblical story of the Prodigal Son. I think any
fans of the series will be pleased with this satisfying, concluding novel. It
is worth the read.
