Happy Tuesday!
Summer is a perfect time for travel and adventures, and these books make me want to get out of the house and go somewhere. (Now, the likelihood of such a trip is slim, but the dream is still there, haha.)
The Austen Escape by Katherine Reay: England PLUS Jane Austen-Regency playacting fun.
The Chaos of Standing Still by Jessica Brody: Only because DIA is the airport I use to fly these days does this book make me want to hop on a plane.
The Coincidence of Coconut Cake by Amy E. Reichert: A delicious foodie exploration of Milwaukee.
Doon by Carey Corp & Lorie Langdon: Scotland PLUS the magical land of Doon.
The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah: Alaska. I've always wanted to visit Alaska.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling: Hogwarts. Enough said.
The Heart Between Us by Lindsay Harrel: A whirlwind bucket-list trip around the world.
One Paris Summer by Denise Grover Swank: I'd say the title's pretty self-explanatory.
Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett: I want to camp now.
Wild Montana Skies by Susan May Warren: Glacier National Park is probably my favorite place ever, and I need to go back. So much love.
What books make you want to travel?
I read Austenland, so I want to read The Austen Escape.
ReplyDeleteI think we would all love to go to Hogwarts!

YAY for Katherine Reay books!! Pretty much anything she writes awakens that travel bug. Also, I'm super eager to read Lindsay's and Doon would be fun... just so long as I could leave when I was ready to. ;)
ReplyDeleteAh, Paris! That is self explanatory.
