Lone Star Standoff | Book Review

ABOUT THE BOOK

A high-profile trial turns lethal…

The next exciting Lone Star Justice novel.

Presiding over the trial of a powerful drug cartel member, Judge Aubrey Madison finds her life threatened, and Texas Ranger Sean McNair isn’t taking any chances. Protecting the widow and her twins comes naturally to Sean—maybe too naturally for a guy who’s convinced he shouldn’t have a family. But he can’t help wishing for a future with Aubrey…if he can keep her alive.

MY REVIEW

Lone Star Standoff is exactly the type of story I hope to discover every time I pick up a Love Inspired Suspense book. Fast-paced and action-packed, it’s suspenseful from start to finish.

When the cartel-related case over which she’s presiding puts the lives of Judge Aubrey Madison and her family in jeopardy, Texas Ranger Sean McNair can’t help lending his protection. Naturally, chemistry is evident between the two, but will they survive the dangerous threats to discover what the future holds?

Margaret Daley delivers this story with enjoyable twists and turns, plus heartwarming romance and necessary cute, light moments. I had fun reading it (even though I haven’t read the rest of the series) and recommend it to readers in need of quick suspense.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and the opportunity to provide an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions I have expressed are my own.
