ABOUT THE BOOK

Broken things can’t be fixed…

Or can they?

Officer and single dad Mike Harrison doesn’t believe in second chances. Ever. That is, until he learns that his former best friend—gorgeous green-eyed car mechanic Georgie Bennett—is back in town. Unfortunately, she’s also a suspect in a recent break-in! But it’ll take an old classic car to show Mike and Georgie that almost anything can be restored with a little patience…and a whole lot of love.

Publisher: Harlequin Heartwarming
Release Date: January 1, 2020

MY REVIEW

Happy sigh. Second chances may not be easy, but they sure do make for good stories.

Former best friends Mike Harrison and Georgie Bennett have history, of course. When Georgie returns to town, the pair must consider if a second chance is possible, given the hurt between them. It might just take the restoration of a classic car (and some encouragement from their community) to discover the best way forward.

Tanya Agler’s The Sheriff’s Second Chance is an all-around sweet, fun, charming read. I loved seeing the progression of romance between Mike and Georgie; it felt natural and authentic from beginning to end. It left me looking forward to seeing what other stories Agler has to deliver.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and the opportunity to provide an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions I have expressed are my own.
