It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #11

Hosted weekly by The Book Date.

Happy Monday!

I survived my first week of classesand finished 10 books for Bout of Books! It was a tiring, but good week.

WHAT I READ LAST WEEK

Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
Oh, my heart. This historical YA story is heartbreaking and tragic, but not without a determined hope for survival.

Dating You / Hating You by Christina Lauren
So fun! A perfect way to get my contemporary-romance fix.

Eagle & Crane by Suzanne Rindell
I loved this book! Even though there's a love triangle, it's a very interesting story of friendship, flying, and the racial climate in the U.S. during World War II.
Won through Goodreads. I was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Ice Wolves by Amie Kaufman
A fun, fantastical middle-grade story of wolves, dragons, and a divided set of twins.

A List of Cages by Robin Roe
Oh, my heart, part two. This contemporary YA story brings two boys together for the most heartbreaking reasons and made me want to yell in frustration on more than one occasion.

Penance by Kanae Minato
A fascinating Japanese thriller. Five perspectives fit together to reveal the truth behind a childhood murder.

White Teeth by Zadie Smith
Eh. Another Great American Read book I didn't love.

WHAT I'M READING NOW

Beginner's Luck by Kate Clayborn
I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith
A Twist in Time by Julie McElwain

WHAT I HOPE TO READ THIS WEEK

Caught in Time by Julie McElwain
The Fortune Hunter by Daisy Goodwin
The History of Love by Nicole Krauss
