It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #17

Hosted weekly by The Book Date.

Happy Monday!

Well, it's been a week. I gave a speech, bowled a nice series, killed my phone, and spent some quality time with my brother and sister-in-law—among other things. It wasn't my best reading week, but that's okay.

WHAT I READ LAST WEEK

Beginner's Luck by Kate Clayborn
It took a while to finish this romance, but that's nothing to do with the story itself. It's cute and sweet, and I enjoyed it.

Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas
YES! I'm loving this DC Icons series, and this third installment does not disappoint.

Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry
Holy moly, this book is long—but it's also good. Another Great American Read book down.

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard
A fun YA fantasy. I'm looking forward to continuing the series.

WHAT I'M READING NOW

Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

WHAT I HOPE TO READ THIS WEEK

City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab
Girls on Fire by Robin Wasserman
The Governess Game by Tessa Dare
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith

  1. I remember enjoying A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and hope you do too. I have Leigh Bardugo's entry into the DC Icons but haven't read it yet. I also enjoyed Truthwitch and have Windwitch on TBR Mountain. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
