It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #16

Hosted weekly by The Book Date.

Happy Monday!

And happy October! (It's really October?!)

It was a bit of a rough week, but I survived—and I'm ready for a new month!

WHAT I READ LAST WEEK

Heidi by Johanna Spyri
A fun childhood classic!

Jackaby by William Ritter
Doctor Who + Sherlock Holmes in 1800s New England. I loved rereading this book, and I'm so ready to continue the series.

My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante
I really expected to love this book more than I did. Kinda disappointing.

My Plain Jane by Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows & Brodi Ashton
LOVED it! So much fun with Charlotte Brontë and Jane Eyre.

The Neverending Story by Michael Ende
A fun, bookish, fantastical tale.

WHAT I'M READING NOW

Beginner's Luck by Kate Clayborn
Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

WHAT I HOPE TO READ THIS WEEK

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter
Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas

  3. Oh, Heidi. My all time favorite as a child! Last week I listened to two of Charles Martin's books (Where the River Ends and Chasing Fireflies). Today I am finishing Shelter of the Most High by Connilyn Cossette. (other books too, just can't think of them at the moment!)
