The Friday 56 & First Line Friday | A Cowboy's Pride

The Friday 56 is hosted weekly by Freda's Voice.
First Line Friday is hosted weekly by Hoarding Books.

Happy Friday!

Up next on my TBR, this new book from Karen Rock is one way I'll be passing time over the weekend. Enjoy the peek!

First Line: "Action!"

From Page 56: Back then Katie-Lynn had chattered when he couldn't speak, held him when he couldn't stand and touched him when he couldn't feel.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Old wounds run deep.

Only the truth can heal them…

Rancher Cole Loveland has no interest in dredging up the past, but his ex-fiancée, Katlynn Brennon, has other plans. To save her struggling TV show, she’s come back to Colorado to investigate the infamous Cade-Loveland feud. Trusting Katlynn again isn’t easy—she’s already chosen her career over Cole once. But he’s beginning to realize that true love, like legends, never dies.

Now, feel free to leave a line from a book near you in the comments below.
And be sure to stop by Hoarding Books and Freda's Voice for a peek into other books.

  3. Sounds like a great romance. It has been quite a while since I've read a Harlequin. I used to devour many each month. This week I'm spotlighting The Plot is Murder by V. M. Burns - a mystery within a mystery from my TBR mountain. Happy reading!

  4. Happy Friday!😊

My first lines come from a book I will be reading shortly, Unleashed by Donna Kauffman.

Emma Lafferty’s life had gone to the dogs. Literally. And to the cats. And the parakeets, goldfish, hamsters, even the occasional potbelly pig. What it and her fledgling pet-sitting service hadn’t gone to was her bank account. Not enough, anyway.

Have a great weekend and happy reading!😊📚💖
